God is a carer

God is like a Zoo keeper…. He looks after everything in his care in the same way a shepherd might look after his sheep in the countryside…. He goes out of his way to find anything thing that has gone astray. And all the animals in his care know his voice and feel safe when he is near!

We can be like them and sing.

Shepherd show me how to go on the hill side steep.

Sing this to the tune of “I’d like to teach the world so sing.”

And feel he is near singing.

Oh Gentle presence peace and joy and power.

Sometimes we can imagine that we are like a mother tucking our babies in at night…. We felt that caring when we were little looking.
