God loves you. . . and has given you the ability to respond using your own gift of your love of life and its benefits. This is 'spiritual' happiness and it does not come from material things - it needs cultivating. It comes from an idea planted and loved and nurtured, a seed at a time.
An example of this came when I found that no one in my community wanted to tidy up our communal front garden. There was rubbish blown in from off the road. It was untidy with huge weeds that needed pulling up, and fallen leaves everywhere. It was usually looked after by the gardener but he was off work. When I suggested people all work together there were objections galore; people thought they would get landed with a permanent job! But I knew this garden was loved and that there was a solution.
"For true happiness man must harmonise with his divine Principle Love”.

So I decided to do the weeding myself; to do just a little bit; just for five minutes, each time I walked through the garden to go out on an errand.
A friend overheard me and said he’d collect up all the leaves using a blower-machine. Then a six year old boy showed me that he was able to identify all the weeds with an app on his Mum's phone; and soon there was a lighter feeling about the whole place!
Christ always works through inspiration and then ideas come to enable us to follow up. Jesus said "the kingdom of heaven is within you". This Christly inspiration is the uplifting presence of good. . . always coming through new practical ideas which inspire us.
